Off to Prague!

After five long months of rehearsing and fundraising, Grasshopper Chorus is finally headed to the Czech Republic for the 2017 Prague Fringe Festival! Shenandoah: A One-Woman Show will perform along side 40+ other shows from around Europe and North America. Eve will act as Stage Manager on this leg of the trip now that her role as Producer has come to a close. Joining her are fellow Grasshopper Chorus members Nancy Monahan, Lila Elias, Justin Halle, and Omar Alsaayed. 

A Little Nebraska in NYC

Grasshopper Chorus' production of Shenandoah: A One-Woman Show opened in NYC at The Great Room in Brooklyn this evening. Grasshopper Chorus consists of five members (pictured left to right): Omar Alsayyed, Lila Elias, Nancy Monahan, Justin Halle, and Eve Johnstone. Closing of the Conference

December 12, 2016

As all closings go, the final night of Tisch School of the Art's StageWorks production of Conference of the Birds was bittersweet. Eve, and her colleague Ayi Santos, worked along side director Naila Al-Atrash, Syrian director and theatre professor, as her assistant directors. Luckily cake was promptly served after, making the evening a little less bitter, and a little more sweet. 

Official Tisch Alum!

Today Eve Johnstone walked across the Radio City stage at the Tisch Salute now officially a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Class of 2016. She earned a BFA in Drama from the Experimental Theatre Wing, and keeping in tradition with the ETW graduates that came before, she and her classmates removed their shoes when they reached the stage.
