Eve Johnstone planted her roots in Portland, Oregon after receiving her BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Art's Experimental Theatre Wing. As a multidisciplinary theatre artist she has directed, written, produced, and performed in productions on both coasts. She is a co-founder of Rutabaga Story Co. as well as the Managing Director of The Columbia Gorge School of Theatre.

As Grendel tends to her dying mother, a bumbling Dane named Unferth finds his way into their cave.
